Not every nubuck leather is automatically water-resistant. The water-repellent property of the leather in our Heritage Nubuck Collection is created through an elaborate tanning process using special tanning agents. The water protection is not merely applied to the surface but is deeply embedded within the leather. This allows the leather to get wet without suffering damage or losing quality.

Light soiling can be removed with a damp cloth. After drying, the surface can be gently brushed with a nubuck brush if needed to restore the nap. Aggressive cleaning agents should be avoided.

Yes. All fittings are made of high-quality brass. They are rust-free, particularly durable, and suitable for daily use in all weather conditions.

Yes. The leather is processed to be especially soft, features rounded edges, and sits comfortably on the dog’s neck. This makes it suitable for sensitive dogs and longer walks as well.
